Yang Yang

Projects Coordinator

Yang joined Melior with several years of professional research experience spanning both academic and pharmaceutical settings, with a focus on immunological protein signaling, nanomedicine, and molecular transport processes.

He earned his master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California, where his research centered on specific signaling pathways of targeted immunological proteins involved in cellular interactions. Yang has strong technical expertise in cell culture, in vitro assays, and biological analysis, including ELISA, flow cytometry, protein purification, molecular cloning, and laboratory animal maintenance.

Since joining Melior, Yang has worked extensively with multiple in vivo disease models and has gained significant hands-on experience in in-vivo and surgical techniques, particularly JVC catheterization and 6-OHDA lesion procedures. In addition to his research contributions, he has served as an internal training coordinator, supporting onboarding processes and ongoing scientific training initiatives. Yang is a highly capable and efficient team member who executes scientific projects with a strong hands-on approach.

Outside of work, Yang enjoys outdoor hiking, watching movies, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends.
